The Procurement Section is responsible for tenders, purchases over £20,000 and advises departments on the best way to tender for work. The Section also monitors Council expenditure to identify where multiple requirements across different departments can be consolidated into one tender. Each department is responsible for seeking its own quotations for goods/services under £20,000.
