This area of work aims to reduce the safety risk to persons and the visual impact on the environment posed by abandoned and derelict vehicles. This is achieved by: Providing a legitimate method of disposal for end of life vehicles at a reduced cost to the Borough’s ratepayers. Removing and disposing of vehicles abandoned in the Borough. Pursuing enforcement action against those persons responsible for abandoning vehicles.
