The Six Mile Water Guardians training programme is well and truly underway and on Saturday 17 May, at 10am to 12noon, there's another opportunity to learn more about this fascinating stretch of water and the different invertebrates that live in rivers and streams.

LOCAL CHILDREN BEE SAFE ON BIKES

Seven lucky children from primary schools in the Antrim Borough Council area have won brand new bikes and safety helmets as part of a Bee Safe event held recently at Clotworthy Arts Centre. Bee Safe is an interactive learning experience, which uses role play and real life scenarios to teach ten and eleven-year-olds about the dangers around them
