Antrim Borough Community Safety Partnership
Antrim Borough Community Safety Partnership delivers projects and programmes, which assist in tackling and reducing crime, the fear of crime and antisocial behaviour within the Borough of Antrim.
The Partnership is a voluntary body comprising representatives from statutory organisations, the community and voluntary sector, and Councillors. It has been in existence for 10 years and is currently delivering it’s 2011/2012 Action Plan which concentrates on the key priorities of antisocial behaviour and violent crime.
The Partnership has been the forerunner in many projects and recognises that addressing community safety has a positive impact on the economy, environment, health & social wellbeing of residents through reduced crime, higher investment potential, increase in retail sector optimism, safer access to towns and amenities, and a reduction in fear of crime.
