Templepatrick Village Plan |
After months of hard work from local people and stakeholders, the Village Plan for Templepatrick was officially launched at the 2011 Christmas Light Switch On event.
The Village Plan was prepared in consultation with local residents and identifies a range of potential projects to improve the village, from short term goals to long term aspirations. The Village Plan recommends a wide variety of projects including some short term actions such as environmental improvements to enhance the aesthetics of the village, a community notice board and a newsletter to keep residents informed, and working with DRD Roads Service to address speeding and parking issues in the village.
Templepatrick Action Community Association is currently working on implementing some of the actions within the village plan.
