Funding

Can I get funding to carry out my project?

Possible funding sources include:

Better Belfast. Grants from £200 to £2,000 for biodiversity projects.

Heritage Lottery Fund. Grants form £5,000 to £50,000 to conserve and enhance our diverse heritage and to encourage communities to identify, look after and celebrate their heritage.

Environment and Heritage Service Grants Programme. 75% grant funding towards conservation and biodiversity projects. For further details T: 9054 6542.

Lough Neagh Strategic Fund. Will consider biodiversity projects which are located in the Lough Neagh wetlands area and/or likely to have a positive impact on the area.

Biffa Award. Small Grants £250-£5,00. Main Grants (Biodiversity and Amenity) £5,000-£50,000. Flagship £150,000-£150,000.
Available to areas within 10 miles of Green Road (Ballyclare) and Cottonmount (Mullusk) Landfill sites. For further information email grants@rswt.org
