Non Council Based Fundraising |
The Community Services team can assist with fundraising for programmes being considered by community or voluntary groups based in the Borough of Antrim.
For further information on current Council funding programme visit the grants assistance page. If you cannot find a programme that supports your project the Community Services team will be happy to help your group source potential external funding streams that may be available.
If you would like to do some research yourself the following fundraising software search facilities will prove invaluable.

Funderfinder - Groups in Need (GIN)
Funderfinder Groups in Need (GIN), makes grant-seeking by groups quicker and more accurate. GIN contains information on about 4,000 charitable trusts and foundations that give grants to organisations based in the UK (for work at home and abroad). GIN retrieves funders that match the search profile entered by the grant-seeker. At the end of a search, users see a list of funders ranked either in best match order or alphabetically.
Council are registered as a provider site for this package and the link below will take you to the GIN search facility. Registration is only required once and your group can then use their Username and Password to access the site as often as needed.

The Funderfinder organisation also produce general information sheets on all aspects of funding and fund-raising.

Grant Tracker has been designed by the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) as a one-stop funding resource for voluntary and community groups in Northern Ireland. It functions as a searchable website that you can subscribe to, or a CD Rom that is updated quarterly. Both are supported by the Funding Advice Officers at NICVA.
Grant Tracker contains a range of tools that could boost your success at fundraising. There are also areas of the website that are free for anyone to access including News, Funding Resources and the Grantmakers Section - see more info at www.grant-tracker.org
