DID YOU KNOW?.....METAL MATTERS IN OUR BOROUGH!
You may have noticed that metal recycling is getting a bit of coverage lately, and the reason? Metal is the focus of an arc21 regional campaign and includes numerous other Council areas including Ballymena, Newtownabbey.
Additional metal materials including tin foil and tin food trays (i.e. takeaway tins and ready meal tin trays) can now be accepted across the Borough in your blue bin recycling scheme in addition to all other metal food and drink cans and aerosol cans.
A number of promotional materials targeting the new recycling scheme will be delivered to your household, advertised on our vehicles and promoted in local papers.

Antrim Borough Council would like to thank you, our residents, for helping us stay in the top 3 recycling Councils in Northern Ireland.
With your help we hope to stay there so would urge all our residents to keep Reducing, Reusing and Recycling!
