Youth Sports Bursaries

The Youth Sports Bursaries are jointly funded by the Enkalon Foundation and Antrim Borough Council and are awarded to assist talented young sports performers with training and competition expenses to enable them to reach their full potential as the sports stars of the future. It is hoped that these Youth Sports Bursaries will enable them to further excel in their chosen sports.

All previous recipients have participated at school and club level as well as junior or senior international representative levels. The Youth Sports Bursaries are designed to enable talented individuals to excel further in their chosen sport or sports.

Applications for the Youth Sports Bursaries are allocated on a quarterly basis closing on the last day in February, May, August and November. Any talented sports performer under the age of 25 who is a resident, attends school or is a member of a club within the Antrim Borough is eligible to apply.
