Wildcats Multi-skills Club

The Wildcats is an new initiative within the Borough which aims to develop and improve the basic fundamental physical skills of all the children taking part. By developing these skills the children will become more competent in their own sports and will be able to progress onto a higher level of performance.

What Is it?

The Wildcats is a specially adapted after school club for boys and girls aged 7-13 years to develop physical literacy in the borough's youth in a fun and exciting way! It is a club, which is not, sports specific but instead a multi-skills programme that focuses on essential skills such as:

- Agility
- Balance
- Control
- Co-Ordination
- Body Movement
- Team Skills

The programme runs over a 5 years with children progressing through each level as below:

Year 1 - Cheetahs
Year 2 - Pumas
Year 3 - Leopards
Year 4 - Tigers
Year 5 - Lions

How Much Does It Cost?

Club membership is £15 per 10 week block with each club member receiving an exclusive Wildcats T-Shirt, certificate and metal pin badge for each level attained.

When Does it Run?

The club meets once per week for a 10 week session before Christmas and a 10 week session after Christmas on Thursdays 4pm - 5.30pm
