Fairtrade Fortnight 2008 : Jenny Bristow Cook Off

Antrim Borough Council celebrated Fairtrade Fortnight 2008 by focusing on global and local fairtrade.

The event was held in partnership with Dale Farm and celebrity chef, Jenny Bristow, on Friday 7th March 2008 in Antrim Forum and offered a large market area with a range of products from both near and far and ranged from carrots from Coleraine to crafts from Kenya.

Jenny Bristow offered lucky visitors three cookery sessions focusing on Fairtrade and local produce and produced a range of recipes for Antrim residents to take away and try for themselves.

The event proved to be a great day with something for everyone and enjoyed by all who visited.
