Power Yoga

Power yoga is a dynamic, modern form of yoga aimed at sports people and gym users.  The class includes traditional yoga postures and vinyasas where breath and movement are linked together in a continuous flow to build strength, flexibility, co-ordination and balance.

EVERY athlete – irrespective of sport or discipline – has the potential to enhance his or her ability by adopting a consistent yoga practice. Results that relate directly to sporting activity include:
• Improved technique & form
• Reduction of overuse injuries
• Greater Range of Movement
• Mental control that gives you the edge over your opponent
Detailed instruction and step by step progression through sequences of postures from simple stretches to more challenging backbends, forward bends and inversions allow you to develop a strong, physical practice in a safe & focused way that strengthens body and mind.

This a drop-in class so there is no need to book your place in advance. It is open to everyone but is best suited to those with some previous experience of yoga or a reasonable level of fitness.

Aqua Zumba

Known as the Zumba "pool party", the Aqua Zumba programme gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that is cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.

The fitness benefits you find on land exists in Aqua Zumba, such as muscle strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, caloric expansion and muscle flexibility. By being in the water, there are additional benefits, lower impact on joints and bones and higher resistance for muscle toning resulting in a higher workout intensity compared to land exercise and a full body massage from the water around you.

Aqua zumba classes attract people of all ages and fitness levels. Only your torsi is submerged in the water, so there is no requirement to know how to swim since the water is at chest level.

Enjoy a free swim after the class.

Instructor: Lisa

Zumba Toning

When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast.
