GATEWAY TO ANTRIM

Tuesday, 06 May 2008

As part of Antrim Borough Council's commitment to promoting the Borough's economic potential, a new investment prospectus has been produced which showcases the area as an attractive location for business and commerce.

Councillor Adrian Cochrane-Watson, Mayor of Antrim explains, "The opportunity is here to harness the potential of our vibrant economy. Successful companies, some of them trading globally, already appreciate what Antrim Borough has to offer. Antrim town in particular is experiencing a renaissance, confidence is growing offering the prospect of major new investment in the town."

The Mayor continues, "Antrim is fast becoming a location of choice for companies in search of that competitive edge with its easy access to excellent road, sea and international air routes. With our scenic countryside and Lough Neagh on our doorstep what better place is there to live, work and do business."

This initiative is supported by the Department for Social Development through its Town Centre Marketing and Promotion scheme, and is also one of the indicative projects identified in the 2005 Antrim Masterplan.

The Investment Prospectus will be distributed through appropriate channels such as commercial Property Agents, retail multiplies, and targeted investment publications. If you would like a copy of the Investment Prospectus, please contact Karen Brown, at Antrim Borough Council T. 9446 3113.
