Antrim Borough Council is delighted to have received the news that they are through to the finals of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development’s People Management Awards with an entry in the Health and Well-being category.
Elaine Magee, the Council’s Assistant Director of Human Resources, says, ‘These are the most prestigious Awards in the profession. They are delivered in partnership with People Management magazine to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in Human Resources and the impact Human Resources has on business success.’
Mayor of Antrim, Councillor Roy Thompson comments, “This is a great achievement as an unprecedented number of entries were received for this year’s Awards. I believe that the judges had a difficult task selecting the finalists as the standard was so high. This is great testament to the investment Council makes in ensuring the health and well-being of staff which is its most valuable asset.”
The category winners and the overall winner will be announced on Wednesday 17 October.
