Following the recent public consultation on the proposed closure of Randalstown Police Station, the PSNI will now present their recommendations for the future of the station at a Community Meeting on Tuesday 13 March at 7.30 pm in Truffles Restaurant, 9 New Street, Randalstown.
The District Commander, Chief Superintendent Henry Irvine, will be available to answer questions in relation to the recommendations presented and will take on board any suggestions for the future of policing in the area. The meeting is open to all members of the public and refreshments will be served at the end.
Councillor Annemarie Logue, Chairperson of Antrim DPP says, “Following on from a very passionate community consultation event, where there was a unified response from the communities of both Randalstown and Toome in opposition to the closure of Randalstown Police Station, I would encourage everyone to attend to hear the recommendations from the PSNI and have your say on the future of policing in the area.”
