Dog Licensing
Welcome to our new pay on-line facility. This has been added to our website to give you the option to pay for your Dog Licence at your own convenience.
Very soon, more Council Services, such as wheelie bin purchases, will be available through the website. In the meantime, use the link below to buy your Dog Licence or you can apply for a Dog Licence either in writing or by calling in person to Antrim Civic Centre, 50 Stiles Way, Antrim.
Under the Dogs (Northern Ireland) Order 1983, before taking possession of a dog or puppy, owners should ensure they have already purchased a dog licence. Breeders should ensure that, if puppies stay with their mother they must have a licence by the age of six months.

Anyone who owns a dog or who is about to obtain a dog must have a valid licence. It is an offence to give or sell someone a dog unless that person can produce a valid licence for that animal. Once you apply for a licence, the Council will issue a licence and licence disc which bears the dog's very own personal identification number.
